I’m Alberto. I design digital experiences around clear decisions, considered interactions, and a visual language that earns its place.

Turning a crowded workspace into a clear sequence of decisions.
A mindful routine that makes starting over feel natural.
An original geometric display experiment: wide proportions, chamfered curves, and a deliberately low crossbar. Two weights. One visual rhythm.
Structure creates character.
Includes A–Z, 0–9, Spanish accents and basic punctuation. Lowercase renders as capitals.
Angular bowls and low crossbars establish a recognizable rhythm across the alphabet.
Made for short headlines, posters, and visual experiments. Reading text uses the portfolio’s separate UI typeface.
Spacing, optical corrections, and pair-specific kerning need further refinement. Created for this portfolio with AI assistance.
A polished screen is a beginning. The real question is whether someone can understand it, use it, and recover when things go wrong.
Competing actions dilute hierarchy. Keep “Export report” primary and let secondary actions recede.
“Continue” hides the outcome. Name the action, the file format, and the scope.
Prevent duplicate exports, announce completion, and offer a retry path if the action fails.
Validation plan: test first-click accuracy and task completion with representative users. No user study has been conducted.
Organize around the decision someone needs to make next.
Loading, empty, error, and recovery states belong in the design.
Use familiar patterns. Give the product a distinct, purposeful voice.
I’m Alberto Hernandez Herrera, a product designer focused on intuitive digital experiences across desktop and mobile. My work spans mobile experiences, business interfaces, and e-commerce. I connect information architecture, interaction design, and visual craft—with an emphasis on explaining the reasoning behind each decision.
I’m interested in how creative tools can support human judgment, and how structured, constructive feedback can make their outputs more useful.
